1. Be willing to take a leap of faith.
2. Listen to their inner voice, and trust it completely.
3. Know that there will be valleys and times you doubt your sanity for starting the venture, and keep going anyway.
In fact, that is the premise of my first live training, 3 Keys to Massive Success, which you can still download and listen to. I teach women many elements that make up successful ventures and provide many tools in my trainings and coaching. But, if you don’t take me seriously when I say these three things are the underpinning of it all, then all the instruction, exercises and studying will not get you to success. I often tell stories about my own career to help women see that taking a leap, listen to your intuition, and perseverance are not idle instruction but truly the main ingredient to my own successes when I look back on them.
Debbie Sterling, CEO and founder of Goldie Blox, has a similar story. And in it she talks about taking a leap of faith quitting her engineering job, believing in her inner guide that fueled her dream even when no one else did, and being willing to hold the course through major discouragement. Her story is inspirational and demonstrates my message to women everywhere. Believe in yourself, dream big, and take a risk on yourself.
Watch her presentation at the Texas Women’s Conference this past month. You will be glad you did.
